Choose from a variety of unique meeting and event spaces with different capacities and furnishings to accommodate your group’s needs. Tenants and Friends & Benefits members enjoy discounted hourly rates.

Available Spaces

  • Classroom — $75/hr

    The Classroom is a flexible, AV-equipped space with large windows and natural light. It’s ideal for meetings, events, workshops, and arts activities, offering a comfortable, adaptable setup with ample seating.

  • Conference Room — $25/hr

    The Conference Room is a private meeting space enclosed by glass doors, featuring a wall of windows overlooking Hennepin Avenue. It is equipped with a whiteboard and seating for up to 10 people.

  • Dining Room — $100/hr

    The Dining Room is a spacious, open area with ample seating, perfect for community gatherings, dining, and social events.



  • Lounge — $50/hr

    The Lounge is a versatile open space designed for comfortable gatherings, casual meetings, and social events. With a mix of cozy sofas, armchairs, high-top tables, and stools, the space is ideal for networking events, workshops, and small receptions.

  • Town Hall — $15/hr

    The Town Hall is an open, semi-private space with large windows overlooking Hennepin Avenue. It’s ideal for screenings, open discussions, and small gatherings, with a capacity of around 15 people.


  • Yellow Room — $50/hr

    The Studio space is perfect for quiet meetings, support groups, workshops, staff gatherings, wellness activities (yoga, bodywork), and more. This flexible room is AV-equipped and offers a variety of adaptable furniture options to suit your needs.

After Hours Rentals

We close to the public and rentals at 8 p.m. Events scheduled from 8 p.m. to midnight are considered after-hours and have access to all public spaces.

The cost for after-hours rental is $250 per hour, with a two-hour minimum, plus a $200 setup fee and a $200 staffing fee. For inquiries about an after-hours rental, please complete the Inquiry Form.

FAQs

  • We offer a large tower speaker, a large monitor on wheels, a microphone, movable dry-erase boards, and a projector. Once your reservation is confirmed, please email kyra@queermunitymn.com to arrange A/V equipment add-ons.

  • Spaces can be booked up to 6 months in advance and are subject to cancellation policies.

  • The Queermunity Café offers catering services for meetings and events. For larger or more specific catering needs, we have a list of preferred vendors who meet our quality standards. Due to licensing restrictions, all food and beverages consumed at Queermunity must be sourced either from the café or one of our approved vendors.

  • We encourage event organizers to set and manage their own masking policies. Masks are available at Queermunity’s front desk if needed.

  • Room rentals are charged by the hour, with a 1-hour minimum and a full-day maximum.
