Intergenerational Queer & Trans Mutual Aid Storytelling
October 17th, 4:00 – 6:00pm
This event will feature an intergenerational panel of queer and trans storytellers sharing their experiences of mutual aid, followed by breakout discussions among participants, and a harm reduction mutual aid activity with the Aliveness Project.
Participants will also have a chance to document their stories of queer and trans mutual aid for the We Help Us project, which will be archived at the Jean-Nickolaus Tretter Collection, the largest archival repository of LGBTQ history in the Midwest.

Queermunity Blood Drive with American Red Cross
October 29th, 12:00 – 6:00pm
Queermunity is partnering with American Red Cross to host a blood drive! Every 2 seconds someone in the U.S. needs blood. The Red Cross provides about 40% of our nation’s blood and blood components, all from generous volunteer donors—just like you! Come help save some lives!
Snacks provided for those giving blood, and a free original Curlworks sticker!

Friday Friend Lab Special: YA HALLOWEEN
October 30th, 4:00 – 8:00pm
Join us for a special spooky Friday Friend lab!
Drag performances, speed friending activities, and make your own Trick & Treat bags with candy and safer sex supplies. Plus, of course music, dancing, and a costume contest at 7pm! So put on your favorite halloween costume, and come have a hauntingly good time!
This event is open to all people who identify as a young adult. The general definition of young adult is 18 to 34, but we think being young at heart counts too - no one will be turned away, all are welcome.
