Fiction & Friends Book Club
Join us for a monthly gathering of fiction lovers! This inclusive book club explores fiction across all genres, meeting on Sundays at 2:00 PM. Led by two queer book enthusiasts, we choose books based on group preferences, with selections tallied from member input.
A Queer-Friendly Fiction Club for Book Lovers of All Genres
Discussions are open-ended and social, and there’s no pressure to finish the book before the meeting. Grab a drink or snack from the Queermunity café and settle in for a relaxed and welcoming conversation.
Our first meeting will focus on introductions and setting up book club logistics. At the second meeting, we’ll dive into Klara and the Sun by Kazuo Ishiguro, a Nobel Prize-winning author. For the third meeting, we’ll discuss The Sentence by Louise Erdrich, a Pulitzer Prize-winning author and member of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa.
We strive to pick books that are accessible through public libraries or available used at Magers & Quinn. Whether you're a casual reader or a lifelong bibliophile, come join the fun!
