Join us at Queermunity as we embark on our first ever drag Werkshop series with Miz Diagnosis and her fabulous five faculty! Each of our five classes will be offered twice. Attend at least three classes, you will be invited to participate in the student and faculty drag show! Whether you're a seasoned drag performer looking to refine specific skills or a newcomer eager to dive into the art form, these hands-on workshops are designed for all skill levels and taught by our expert faculty! Weeks 1 & 2 | February 19 & 26
A Crafty Crashcourse: Making Headpieces with Pistachio Creampie
Come learn the art of making something out of nothing! Here at Werkshop we are big believers that in order to get the creativity and artistry flowing we have to get good at building something from the ground up. Our faculty, Pistachio Creampie, will be taking you through a lesson in making a headpiece that fits your unique drag aesthetic!

From Basic to Badass: Upcycling with Rose Nylon
When it comes to crafting a garment, starting from a rectangle of fabric can be very daunting, so we will start with up-cycling! With faculty, Rose Nylon, we will be creating and up-cycling a unique jacket that will be the perfect additional accessory to your favorite look! We will be learning all things embellishing and enhancing!

Painting For The Back Row: Finding Your Face with arágidi
Learn how to find the ultimate drag face that fits you and your unique aesthetic. With our faculty, arágidi, you will be going over the foundations of what makes an excellent drag mug that can be seen from outer space!

Shhhhh… it’s a Wig! With Ava Cado
Does anyone wear a wig anymore?? With our faculty, Ava Cado, you’ll proudly answer, “yes!” With a new wig that you will be sectioning, teasing and smoothing/styling!
Weeks 9 & 10 | April 16 & 23
Living In The Moment: Dance and Movement
Learn how to live, move and shake within your unique and beautiful body! With our faculty, Raven Nevermore, you will learn how to feel powerful in your body and how to grove in a way that is impactful and compliments the music that moves you! No prior dance experience required!
Final Drag Show | April 26 ✨
If you attend at least 3 of our 5 Werkshop series Werkshops you’ll be invited to come perform with your faculty in a drag here at Queermunity, hosted by Miz Diagnosis! Come show off what you’ve learned/created at Werkshop! Show is at 6:00PM on April 26th—tickets available at *insert ticket link* thanks to our sponsors Norcostco and Queermunity!
Register for Werkshops
Each class is offered twice, and you only need to register for one session of each of the five classes.
Each class costs $25.
If you wish to register for all five classes in advance, you'll get one class for free.
