Healing through collective care
Join us for a day of collective care, reflection, and empowerment at Wounds 2 Wisdom, a retreat designed to honor and nourish the Black queer experience. Through creative expression, shared knowledge, and spiritual grounding, we will explore the many faces of intergenerational healing.
Offerings include
12pm Collective improv — expertly guided
1:00pm A nourishing, catered meal — mindfully crafted to accommodate diverse dietary needs
2:00pm Panel discussion — Reflection and Ritual: Black Healing & Collective Offering
3:00pm Holy Fire Reiki — a guided transformative meditation experience
Throughout Collective altar building — honoring Black history and queer Black history
We invite all attendees to bring a small item to contribute to our communal wall altar. Offerings should hold personal or ancestral significance and be attachable with adhesive. Together, we will create a living tribute to resilience, wisdom, and the sacred journey of healing.
This free retreat is open to 50 Black queer individuals who feel called to this collective offering. Registration is required. Come as you are, ready to be held, seen, and restored.
